Information And Awareness

Great news: Alaska Airlines has teamed up with Arc of Ancorage to form "Wings for Autism". This program orientates Autistic children and their parents to travelling as it may be a challenging experience for some.

"Wings for Autism" teaches children on the Spectrum -as well as other Special Needs- about travelling. This includes a "practice run" for them and their parents of what they will experience when really travelling for the first time.

Once again this is another great initiative to see. Let us know what you think about this in the comment section below. Also if you would participate in something like this as a Special Needs parent.

This is similar to a now and next chart but helps keep track of what has been completed already. You can tick it off once completed. Place visuals or actual pictures in the columns.
